A safe place to work & shop during COVID-19

The safety of out team, contractors, suppliers and customers is of the utmost importance to the Woolworths Group during these unprecedented times.

At Woolworths Group, we are guided by advice from the Federal, State and Territory Departments of Health to support the safety and wellbeing of our Team, Customers & Communities.

This advice evolves as the pandemic evolves, we have summarised the key information in place in stores as at Tuesday, 11 August 2020.

Please note this may change temporarily or in a certain geographic areas based on it being a government designated hotspot or if Woolworths sees an increase in positive Covid-19 cases.

What you can do:

  • Stay at home if you are unwell or are awaiting results of a COVID test
  • Cover coughs and sneezes and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Regularly wash your hands with soap and water (try singing Happy Birthday twice for an idea of time - from 40-60 seconds)
  • Use alcohol-based sanitiser (look for a formula with at least 60% alcohol)
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces and objects like mobile phones, keys, wallets
  • Maintain a 1.5m space between yourself and others whenever possible.

If you are feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms, we ask that you do not come into store, but stay at home and seek medical attention if required.
