From 12:01 am yesterday, the South Australian Government has implemented a circuit breaker for the next 6 days aiming to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the state. As we continue to keep COVID safety in focus, we’d like to update you on our protocols for store visitors and product limits.
Merchandisers visiting our South Australian stores
We appreciate the continued support of your teams in our stores. Off the back of the government’s announcement, only those who are performing work that is essential for the continued operation of our stores can attend our stores. On that basis, unless otherwise advised, our store teams will now be required to replenish stock and we ask that your teams do not visit our South Australian stores until further notice.
As a result of a significant increase in demand, we have had to introduce limits in South Australian stores across some categories to better manage demand and ensure our customers continue to have access to the products they need most. Limits for products will be updated as demand and product availability changes. We anticipate more limits may be added/changed over time as demand changes.

Hygiene and distancing
Wearing a face covering is now strongly encouraged by the South Australian Government when outside the home.
We’d like to remind you that all direct to store delivery (DSD) drivers, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) delivery drivers and other service providers must sign-in at all stores, each time you arrive, using the Woolworths Group Visitor Management app. This app will replace the contractor/visitor sign-in book at the service desk and the back dock. Please search for and download the Woolworths Group Visitor Management app to your phone. You’ll still need to collect a visitor sticker from the service desk. If one of your team members is:
feeling unwell with COVID-19 symptoms, or has been in contact with someone who has, they must stay at home and seek medical advice and testing.
diagnosed with COVID-19, please notify the manager of the sites they have visited as soon as possible so we can take the appropriate supportive action for our Woolworths team, our customers and your team.
We understand that a further period of government restrictions is likely to follow the initial 6-day circuit breaker. We’ll continue to monitor the changing government guidelines and will keep you updated on any further changes to our protocols.
