We have been notified that a person who visited Highpoint Shopping Centre on Thursday 20th May 2021 between 5pm and 8pm has tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Anyone who was at Highpoint Shopping Centre since Thursday 20th May 2021 and becomes unwell in the next two weeks should contact the National Coronavirus Information Line on 1800 020 080 and get tested.
We’re notifying customers and contacting our team members. We will continue to act in line with advice from the health authorities.
As a retailer, we already have very high standards of cleaning and hygiene in place. As an extra precautionary measure, the store had an additional deep clean after hours.
While the risk of transmission to customers and team members is low, the safety and wellbeing of the local community is our priority.
Customers and team members should be assured they can continue to safely shop and work at our Highpoint store.

BIG W became aware of the case on Monday 25 May 2021 and has placed customer notifications in the store.
