We have been notified that a customer with a confirmed case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) was present in our Woolworths South Melbourne store on 22 May between 1:20pm and 2:30pm and 23 May between 7:00pm and 7:45pm.
As a food retailer, we already have very high standards of cleaning and hygiene in place, and the store had a detailed deep clean overnight on 30 May.
Customers and team members should be assured they can continue to safely shop and work at our Woolworths South Melbourne supermarket.
Any customers who shopped in our South Melbourne store on 22 and 23 May and feel unwell in the next two weeks should make contact with the health authorities.
